SCP CNPAAEMI Fellow for 2014


Jasmin LlamasJasmin Llamas received her Ph.D. in Counseling, Clinical, and School Psychology from University of California, Santa Barbara. She completed a pre-doctoral internship at University of California, San Francisco. She is an Assistant Professor in the Counseling Psychology Department at Santa Clara University, where she will start in the fall (2014). Her research focuses on conducting community-based mixed methods research to examine health disparities and cultural impacts on psychological health, with special interest in Latina/o populations.  She is dedicated to serving the field and served as the Regional Representative for the Student Affiliates of Seventeen, Division 45 Student Representative, and Chair of the APAGS Committee on Ethnic Minority Affairs. Jasmin is the recipient of a number of awards and training opportunities and most recently was selected to participate in the Minority Fellowship Program Psychology Summer Institute.
