APF Div17 Counseling Psych Grants – Due 4/1/2017


Up to $6,500 available to enhance the science and practice of counseling psychology.

In particular, it aims to support research on the implementation of innovative counseling programs and models. The division has $6,500 available to fund one or more proposals. Typically, the division funds two to three proposals in the range of $1,000-3,000 each.

Eligibility:

  • Membership in Society of Counseling Psychology.
  • Be affiliated with a nonprofit charitable, educational, or scientific institution, or governmental entity operating exclusively for charitable and educational purposes.
  • IRB approval must be received from host institution before funding can be awarded if human participants are involved.
  • Early career psychologists (no more than 10 years post-doctoral) are encouraged to apply.
