Dr. Delishia M. Pittman is an award-winning board-certified counseling psychologist. She was the first African American to be board-certified in counseling psychology in the District of Columbia. She is dually licensed as a psychologist and licensed professional counselor in the District of Columbia and Virginia. 

A Scholar-Activist-Practitioner, Dr. Pittman splits her professional time as the Founder and Clinical Director of the PSP Wellness Collective (www.pspwc.com), a boutique psychotherapy practice prioritizing the wellbeing of Black Millennials, and as a tenured Associate Professor of Counseling in the Graduate School of Education and Human Development at The George Washington University.

 Dr. Pittman earned her PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Georgia and an MPH in epidemiology from The George Washington University. 

Dr. Pittman is a native of Phoenix, AZ and adds balance to her very full professional life by spending time with family, friends, and her dog T’Challa, travel, and loving on her godchildren, Tomás, Kaidence, and Andreas.
